Date: Sat, 1 Jan 2011 11:58:56 -0500 X-Message-Number: 2 We are pretty much paperless. If it wasn't for the client needing their paper, we would be paperless. I think it is way cool that the Apple Store asked if you would like the receipt emailed instead of printed. I tried that but it went over like a ton of bricks. We use Quickbooks Pro for contracts, inventory etc. For various reasons, I use Microsoft Money for accounts payable management. Most notes in the clients home are done with my stylus (way cool device) and "Notes Plus" on my iPad. These are Emailed to me for filing in clients file on my PC which is networked to home, and three work computers. Work orders are as Steve said, scanned by my Four in One to file into clients computer file on Paperport. I know there are programs that do the work orders such as Solartech that I am sure would enhance the process. Try it; if you need the paper just print it. Date: Wed, 5 Jan 2011 08:46:35 -0500 X-Message-Number: 3 I have a client who brought me a shade to restring. He picked it up and then realized that he could no longer locate the brackets for this shade and has put me in charge of finding some more. I am not sure of the brand. The only identifying mark is a label that says "Signature Series" and assembled in Mexico by Norma. It is a room darkening honeycomb with the top rail 2 1/2" deep and an extra ridge of metal going the whole length of the rail at about the half-way point. I checked on line with Blinds Parts (or Fix MY Blinds) and the only bracket that looked like it might work has been discontinued and they only have 1. I need probably 4. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks. As a HD priority dealer now, but not always, I see both sides of the story. We all get to make our own decisions on what we want to sell, and every customer is different too. Start at the top, go from there. Teresa Carosella

I know Im the dynasore, but I came into the Industry in the 70s and have chosen not to change. Those of you coming in now and planing on being around for another 30 years should probably think about how you should proceed. The industry aint what it used to be, and neighther is the rest of the world. So lets hope 2011 is that turn around year and that we all have a chance to recoup and regroup our losses. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: RE: Hunter From: "Cheryl Sowder"
