I have tested and found it quit interesting, and easy to use with lots of features. Read the full story in "Window Coverings News Magazine" http://www.workroomassociationofamerica.com/ click on image. Being a developer of program that estimates labor and yardages for my own company, a lot of work went into this program. Kirk Axelson Have a FANTASTIC DAY, Where Everyday Is FRIDAY!!! Corporations are doing this these day instead of bankruptcy. If they went bankrupt you would be getting nothing or 10 cents on the dollar perhaps. Some corps are choosing not to go to the expense of bankruptcy. This business concept was planned for some time. Yes since they did not go bankrupt you can get a lawyer and sue but it wouldn't be worth the $7,000. It would cost you more than that and that is what they are counting on. I am sure they owe a lot of small amounts, not that $7,000 isn't small to you, but it is small to them. They know they can walk away and you won't sue. Of course if the new owner wants to start back operation with you, you will tell him the back funds needs to be paid first. They also know that and will move on to a new vendor. This is where this forum may be able to help. If every other vendor on this forum refused to do business with them until their debt is paid with you, that would help. I would hope that your window-pro friends would stand behind you in this manner. In any event, we all feel your pain. Sounds like a great opportunity for a major fabricator to walk in and start selling retail. I have to wonder what HD's announcement to stop selling to internet retailers and this have in common? Date: Sat, 17 Apr 2010 11:10:44 -0600 X-Message-Number: 4 Good Day Pros Hope this post finds you making tons of sales (outside the Denver metro area) and you barely have time to read this. Just curious on your thoughts regarding the Persona. We did the Webinar, watched the Youtube Videos, and attended a presentation seminar at a local hotel. But we still look at the product as part of the Davinci Code. We did sell several a couple of days ago as a "test". How we did it I have no idea. Selling 'color' using a little 'postage stamp' color sample is a bit challenging. We're very comfortable selling 'color' but there is a big difference between holding up a fabric swatch for the customer to see and holding up a little 'postage stamp' sample. We've now included a magnifying glass as part of our Persona Selling Kit. Our problem with this product is that's it is not the kind of thing you could typically walk into a customers house and walk out with a check. You are almost forced to order a swatch. Which means you have to go back 1 or 2 times more just to sell the Persona part of your sale. Especially if you are working with a fabric treatment over the Persona. This can be a big problem. As any of you that have been doing in-home sales for awhile knows.... if you let the selling process go on for a long time you stand a good chance of losing the sale. A swatch takes 5-7 days to get, which in 'comfortex speak' means a few weeks. We can get a fabric swatch from our fabric distributors in a few days. So, what say you Pros? Any opinions? Thoughts? Ideas? Recipes for a good margarita? Our max width is 24' x 14' for solar or blackout. While our product typically is applied outside with tracks, it can be anywhere you need, with or without the tracks. Let me know how else to help.
