What you may want is a translight or translucent shade, allowing light in but no viewing. The only versatile shades allowing viewing out during day and privacy at night are Venetian blinds or Silhouette-type soft horizontals. Although we do make them with the Opaque lined fabric on the front and a sheer on the back. Both layers operate independently as roman shades and only require a 1/2" to inside mount. Date: Thu, 12 May 2011 17:40:22 -0500 X-Message-Number: 5 Short answer: NO. On any screen shade, you can see in at night just as well as you can see out during the day. You can do a double shade from a few different manufacturers, but you would need two shades. Hunter Douglas makes a double shade that fits into a single cassette, so that might be an option for you. Their website (thearchguys.com) has a great gallery, so your customers know exactly what to expect. I love their products. They will match any paint or stain blind finish, and they have most of the manufacturer's samples there. BRENT CRANDALL BLIND DEPOT 1335 W. Campbell Rd.
