WINDOW-PRO Digest for Thursday, June 25, 2009. 1. Re: Margott 2. RE: Price sheets in Excel 3. Re: Cutting down woven woods? 4. RE: Myke Margott ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: Margott From: John Edwards
Date: Wed, 24 Jun 2009 21:17:31 -0700 (PDT) X-Message-Number: 1 Dear Rory: I read, with a great deal of interest, the Margott is in Montana post because I am in the unique position of knowing Mychael Margott and also having had an email exchange with Charlie Montana. However, Mychael failed to tell me that he was using the pseudonym Charlie Montana when he was propositioning me for business; and I did not know that I was communicating with Mike. Here is the email that he wrote on May 4, 2009 where he clearly leads me to believe that he is providing a domestically made shutter produced in Pennsylvania - despite the fact that the shutter he is selling comes directly from China and never touches Pennsylvania soil. The 10 year / Lifetime warranty that he presents is especially amusing given the fact that of the dozens of window covering companies that he has opened over the last two decades, not one of them have survived for ten years. Dear Mr.Edwards: Thank you for your interest in our company. I would love to learn more about you and your organization. It is our hope that there is a common fit that can bring us to a working relationship in the near future. I will first answer some of your questions. We build our shutters domestically and ship them all over the country. We are able to service and repair quickly should you make an error or should we. Our warranty is 10 years on the paint and lifetime on the construction. Pricing is always window size plus adding for your frames. Lead time from PA is 6 weeks. Please let me know the type of pricing you are looking for in a domestic product so that we can provide you a delivered price. Please feel free to email me at my direct email listed below as we move forward. Thank you Charlie Montana Charlie7seas@yahoo.com Rory, thank you for the very worthwhile heads-up and extra kudos for posting such valuable information that will certainly keep other people in our industry off of the creditors list. And the program is set up to allow for overhead , freight in, waste. You get a COST per foot on what I have done. Not cost PER SQUARE FOOT. You could revise it with ease. For there you have 1 box for the MARKUP for Distributor, and 1 box fof the MARKUP for DEALER. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: Cutting down woven woods?
